Chinese maps on the menu

Which way to Quanjude, the home of Peking Duck?

China is a booming business and tourist destination, and a huge domestic market. It has also been, until now, a new frontier for online mapping in Chinese, let alone English. We are very happy to announce that that is all changing, as we have partnered with MapABC, the premier local mapping company, to pioneer bilingual Chinese mapping.

Multimap.com and the Multimap API are now available with a choice of mapping in Chinese or Western characters. The service takes advantage of our ability to switch between different map types, and allows consumers and businesses to choose their preferred language. Just hover over the ‘Map’ button and select to switch the map language.

More than 150 cities around the country are available, just in time to ready yourself for the Beijing Olympics, when all eyes will be on China. Now you can find your way to the Olympic Stadium and the Forbidden City in the language of your choice and flip to Chinese to print the map for your designated driver!

P.S. in case you wondered; yes, we’re the only online mapping company that does this.
